How can I place an order?

Browse our shop and add items to your cart. Once you’re ready, checkout securely with your preferred payment method. You’ll receive a confirmation email as soon as your order is placed.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, UPI, and net banking. All transactions are processed securely.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link by email. If you have any trouble, write to us at support@essensile.com and we’ll sort it out.

What is your return policy?

We want you to love what you receive. If something arrives damaged or isn’t what you expected, reach out within 7 days of delivery and we’ll make it right. Because our pieces are handcrafted and made to order, we’re unable to accept returns for change of mind but we’re always happy to help find a solution.

Do your products require any special care?

Teak is naturally resilient, but simple care goes a long way. Hand wash with mild soap, dry promptly, and oil occasionally with food-safe mineral oil or coconut oil. Avoid soaking in water or putting in the dishwasher. Each product also comes with specific care instructions

The grain / colour on my board looks different from the photo is this normal?

Yes, completely normal and part of what makes it yours. Every board is shaped from a single block of teak, so no two pieces carry the same grain or tone. What you receive may be lighter, darker, or differently marked than the photo. That’s honest wood, not a defect.

The iron knife on my KnifeNest has started to discolour / rust is it defective?

Not a defect this is natural aging. Like a well-seasoned cast iron pan, your iron knife develops a patina over time. A quick hand wash, thorough dry, and light coat of cooking oil before storage keeps it performing well for years. Avoid leaving it wet or storing it damp.

How strong are the magnets on the Magnetic Knife Holder? Will it hold my heavy knives?

The holder uses concealed neodymium magnets among the strongest available and is rated for up to 5 standard kitchen knives. For heavier knives or long-term use, we recommend the screw mounting option over the 3M tape. Always test stability before placing your knives.

Does the teak stand come included, or is it sold separately?

It depends on the product. LoopEdge, Slot Handle, and BottleForm all come with a handcrafted teak wooden stand included. KnifeNest includes the removable iron knife. The Magnetic Knife Holder includes an iron knife, mounting hardware, and installation guide. Each product page lists exactly what’s in the box.
